MENDON, Mass. (AP) - Investigators say they do not suspect foul play in the death of an infant at a day care in Mendon.

Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early, Jr., said in a statement on Wednesday that the 10-week-old boy was found unresponsive on Tuesday by his mother after she arrived to pick him up at the Bethany Church Day Care Center. The baby was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Early says the case remains under investigation by state police detectives and Mendon police, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine cause of death.
