OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Police are investigating the death of a 79-year-old man found inside a northwest Oklahoma City home as a homicide.

Sgt. Gary Knight says the body of Beaux McGlothlin was found Tuesday afternoon by police who were asked to check on him because he had not shown up for work.

A suspected cause of death were not immediately released, but Knight says the man’s injuries are consistent with homicide. Knight declined to describe the injuries.

Police have made no arrests in the case and Knight said a motive is unknown.
