NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Vanderbilt has finished putting together its 2018 nonconference schedule by adding a home game with Nevada.

According to the agreement announced Thursday, Nevada will visit Vanderbilt Stadium on Sept. 8, 2018. This will mark the first time that Vanderbilt and Nevada have faced each other.

Vanderbilt’s 2018 nonconference schedule also includes home games Sept. 1 with Middle Tennessee and Sept. 29 with Tennessee State as well as a Sept. 15 trip to Notre Dame.

This marks the third series with a Mountain West Conference program that Vanderbilt has announced in the last several months. Vanderbilt is scheduled to face Hawaii in 2022 and 2023. The Commodores also have arranged a four-game series with Colorado State that includes matchups in 2020, 2021, 2025 and 2026.
