DEDHAM, Mass. (AP) - Officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying skeletal remains of a woman found in Dedham, Massachusetts.

A resident discovered the bones Tuesday while walking in a wooded area adjacent to a parking lot at 376 High Street, near a senior housing complex.

Dedham Police Chief Michael J. d’Entremont and Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey on Friday released photos showing a copy of the Marist College sweatshirt the woman was wearing and the actual ring and bracelet with a “peace” charm found with the remains.

She was also wearing a pair of Atmosphere brand sweatpants.

Authorities believe the woman has been dead for at least several months and she was in her late teens or early 20s. The cause and manner of death has not yet been determined.
