PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - A Florida Panhandle man has been sentenced to life in prison for fatally shooting another man.

The Pensacola News Journal (https://goo.gl/P9AWk1) reports that 26-year-old Joshea Gilliams was sentenced Thursday. An Escambia County jury found him guilty last month of second-degree murder.

Surveillance video shows 22-year-old Jesse James Bryant Jr. driving down a Pensacola street in January 2015 when another man stopped the driver in the street, punched him through the window and shot him. Bryant sped off and made it to a nearby gas station, where he collapsed. He later died at a hospital.

Gilliams was arrested 11 days later when police found him in a car connected to the shooting, along with the gun.
