YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say two members of the military were hospitalized following an assault at a nightclub while deployed in Arizona.

Yuma, Arizona police said Friday night in a statement that the incident happened about 2 a.m. on April 2 at The Kress nightclub in downtown.

Three members of the military deployed from Idaho were assaulted by a group of at least three unknown males.

One of the two military members taken to a local hospital was later flown to another hospital in San Diego. No information on their injuries was provided but police say they are in stable condition.

Police say they don’t have information on the suspects, as the group who assaulted the men had left the scene by the time authorities arrived.
