Carmelo Anthony has been the subject of relentless trade rumors throughout this NBA offseason, but the New York Knicks small forward reportedly is only interested in a move to either the Cleveland Cavaliers or Houston Rockets.

Wait. According to a new report from the New York Post, Anthony now only has eyes for Houston.

“A stalemate has ensued as sources indicate Anthony only wishes to waive his no-trade clause to go to the Rockets,” the Post’s Marc Berman wrote Monday night. “Not even Cleveland, which is in turmoil, is good enough for Anthony as the Cavaliers are dealing with Kyrie Irving’s trade demand.”

Cleveland would give Anthony the opportunity to play with longtime friend LeBron James, but with the drama surrounding Irving’s recent trade demand, it makes sense why Anthony wouldn’t want to enter that particular situation.

Houston, meanwhile, offers the 33-year old the chance to play with another good friend, point guard Chris Paul, as well as superstar shooting guard James Harden.

Anthony averaged 22.4 points per game last season for New York.
