LEESBURG, Va. (AP) - Authorities believe the bodies of a woman and two children found dead in a car that went over an embankment belong to three people reported missing in Virginia.
Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman said in a press conference Monday that a Ford Taurus that went over the embankment matched the description of the car that 27-year-old Courtney Ashe, 9-year-old Jalen C. Sills-Russell, and 5-year-old Cameron A. Martin were in.
The Virginian-Pilot reports 27-year-old Courtney Ashe was last seen Friday night leaving a family residence in Ashburn with Jalen, a cousin, and her son, Cameron. They were reported missing Sunday after they were expected to return to a family residence in Leesburg, but never arrived.
Authorities say at this point, there is no suspicion of foul play.
