Woman killed after being shot in car that crashed into tree

GOULDS, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a shooting that resulted in a car crashing into a tree has killed a woman and injured another woman.

The Miami Herald reports 22-year-old Grace Frazer died after being shot in the abdomen while 20-year-old Brittany Clay was shot in the leg and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital South.

Miami-Dade police said in a statement that the women were shot Friday night while riding in a Nissan Altima. When officers arrived, they found that the car crashed into a tree in Goulds.

An investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
