UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) - Two teens have been charged with murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of a homeless man in Maryland.

Police in Prince George’s County say the two are charged with the murder of 47-year-old Francisco Sagastizado in July. Police said in a statement that a preliminary investigation reveals Sagastizado was stabbed after he refused the teens’ demands for money.

Police say a 14-year-old from Adelphi is charged as an adult. A second suspect, whom police did not identify, is 13 and was charged as a juvenile. The Associated Press is not naming the 14-year-old because of his age. Both suspects are boys.
