BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A shooting at a Louisiana apartment complex has killed a person and injured another.
News outlets report two people were found shot inside of an SUV on Thursday. One person was found dead, while the other was taken to the hospital. The injured person’s condition remains unknown as of Thursday night.
Baton Rouge police spokesman Sgt. L’Jean McKneely says the suspected shooter attempted to drive away from the scene, but crashed and fled on foot.
At this time, police do not have anyone in custody. Further details have not been released.
