BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Police say a Boise homeowner was wounded when he confronted a suspected burglar who pulled a gun and shot him.

The homeowner was taken to a local hospital with a single gunshot wound. Police say his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

Police say the homeowner confronted a burglar Sunday morning, who ran away from the home with stolen goods. The homeowner chased him and again confronted the man. The man pulled out a gun and shot the homeowner.
