WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (AP) - An armed man who authorities say forced his way into a Georgia apartment was shot and killed.

Warner Robins police spokeswoman Jennifer Parson tells local media that around 4 a.m. Sunday, 24-year-old Cartrell Brooks forced his way inside the apartment armed with a gun and was shot. She says 26-year-old Malandon West and 26-year-old James Alderson were inside the apartment. Exactly what happened and who did the shooting is still under investigation.

Brooks was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Parson says no one has been charged at this time.
