ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Bernalillo County Sheriff’s officials say a woman has been arrested in connection with a homicide investigation in South Valley.

They say 28-year-old Angelina Weaver is jailed on suspicion of murder and conspiracy and also had an outstanding warrant for a probation violation.

Authorities say 39-year-old Dale Koch and another man allegedly fled the scene along with Weaver after Sunday morning’s fatal shooting of 42-year-old Lawrence Chavez Jr.

Sheriff’s officials say Koch has been booked into jail on suspicion of murder, tampering with evidence and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

They say the other man had four felony warrants for his arrest and has been jailed, but his name is being withheld until authorities determine if he was involved with the homicide.
