ABERDEEN, Wash. (AP) - Police say an Aberdeen, Washington man was arrested after his brother was shot in their home.

KOMO-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2x4xnXl ) the incident unfolded at about 1 a.m. Wednesday when officers responded to a report of a shooting at an Aberdeen home.

Dispatchers said the brothers’ father called 911 and said one had shot the other.

When officers arrived, they found the father holding one brother down on the floor. The father told police the brother was the shooter.

Officers went upstairs and found another brother, who was shot. He was unconscious.

He was taken to a local hospital and later airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The brother suspected in the shooting was booked into the Aberdeen City Jail on unrelated charges as the investigation into the shooting continues.
