CHERRYFIELD, Maine (AP) - Court documents indicate a woman found dead in Washington County was shot in the head and was in a relationship with one of the people charged with killing her.

WABI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2x5iaoQ ) that the documents were revealed when 19-year-old Quaneysha Greeley, of New York City, appeared in court Wednesday in Machias.

Greeley and 37-year-old Carine Reeves, also of New York City, are charged in the death of 55-year-old Sally Shaw, whose body was found July 19 alongside a road in Cherryfield.

Greeley is being held without bail in Machias, and Reeves is being held without bail in New York.

Friends and family say Shaw and Reeves were in a relationship with a history of violence. Court documents say police were told that Reeves sells cocaine and that Shaw was his driver.
