PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) - Two Rhode Island men were arrested and are in custody after getting into a physical argument with a victim over smoking.
Police says they two men, Christopher Ramos and Jailson Duarte, were arrested after they beat up a man who asked them to stop smoking in the hallway of a Pawtucket residence on Wednesday.
Police took Ramos into custody the same day. Duarte turned himself into police Thursday.
Ramos was arraigned in court Thursday morning on felony assault charges. Duarte is set for arraignment Friday. It couldn’t be immediately determined if they had lawyers.
