CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - Police say a man pumping gas in a violence-plagued Philadelphia-area city was injured after shots were fired.

Chester police say several shots hit the man’s car at the Sunoco station just before midnight Tuesday, piercing the windshield and shattering the rear window.

Police found a man in his 20s on the ground with injuries outside the car. He was taken to a hospital, where his condition wasn’t immediately available.

Investigators were hoping that surveillance video from the station would provide clues leading to a suspect.
