SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah police say one teenage boy has died and another has been injured after they were hit by gunfire from a passing car over the weekend.
Unified Police Lt. Ken Hansen says the two 17-year-olds were standing outside a home in Magna on Saturday night when a white sedan driving by fired multiple shots at them.
Hansen says the teen who lived at the home died from his wounds and the other teen was in fair condition at a hospital.

Police have not released the boys’ names.
Officers are asking anyone with information about the shooter to call police.
