WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Prosecutors have reached a plea agreement with one of four men charged with murder in the shooting of a New Castle man in 2015.
Twenty-six-year-old Timane Dollard was scheduled to appear at a plea hearing Monday, but the hearing was continued at the court’s request.
Dollard’s plea agreement follows co-defendant 26-year-old Marquivus Hardy’s guilty plea in March to second-degree murder, assault and other crimes in the shooting of 29-year-old Isaias Gonzalez.
Authorities say Dollard, Hardy, and two other men, Dameir Walker and Miguel Taylor, broke into a garage at a home on Martin Drive, killing Gonzalez and wounding another man.
The shooting was reported shortly after police responded to a home invasion on Maryland Avenue in Wilmington.
Investigators later determined that the victim of the home invasion knew Gonzalez.
