KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) - A man was hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a train in Kenosha County.

The sheriff’s office says 18-year-old Adam Sanchez of Twin Lakes was on the tracks trying to video the train with his cellphone shortly after midnight Monday. The conductor of the 118-car, 13,000-ton Canadian National Railway train got it slowed to about 35 mph but Sanchez didn’t move off the tracks in time.

He was flown to a Wauwatosa hospital.

Four other people who were with the man were not hurt. The tracks were shut down for about two hours while authorities investigated.
