CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - A coroner has released the name of a man found dead on a South Carolina island earlier this week.

The Charleston County Coroner’s Office told local media outlets the body found at the Johns Island housing complex Sunday was that of 64-year-old Harry Bennett.

The coroner’s office said Bennett died from several stab wounds.

Charleston police were called to the complex where Bennett had lived for four years by a neighbor who said she could see him in a chair and he was not moving.

An officer entered the unlocked apartment and found Bennett dead.

No arrest have been reported.
