BIDDEFORD, Maine (AP) - Officials say the body of a 53-year-old woman has been recovered after the boat she was in capsized about 10-miles off the Maine coast.

Coast Guard Petty Officer Andrew Barresi says the body was found Sunday by the Maine Marine Patrol.

Barresi tells the Portland Press Herald (https://bit.ly/2vAPq6c ) the four people on the 21-foot power boat were not wearing life jackets when they were thrown into the water at about 10:40 a.m.

Three other people who were in the boat that capsized were rescued by another boat after they spent about 30 minutes in the water.

Barresi says the woman who died never resurfaced.

The Coast Guard says the boat capsized after it took a wave off the stern.
