RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Twenty Virginia Department of Forestry staff members are heading to southeast Texas to help with Harvey recovery efforts.

WCAV reported Monday that the department’s incident management team will be in the Houston area to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency. They will coordinate resource staging areas across a multi-county area, supplying water, ice and food.

The station reports the team left from Abington on Monday afternoon, and they are expected to be in Texas for about two weeks.
