PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - One of Rhode Island’s most notorious killers is facing charges he stabbed a fellow inmate.

WPRI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2waXso6) Craig Price was arraigned Thursday morning in Suwannee County Courthouse in Live Oak, Florida on one charge of attempted murder and a charge of contraband in prison.

No plea was entered and the 43-year-old Price was appointed a public defender. His next court date is in September.

Price was 15 when he admitted to killing two women and two young girls in Warwick, Rhode Island in the late 1980s. He’s set to be released in 2020 but could face life in prison if convicted of the latest charges, WPRI-TV reports.

Florida prosecutors say Price stabbed another inmate at the Suwannee Correctional Institution five times with a 5-inch knife on April 4 before prison guards intervened.
