LONDON, Ky. (AP) - A man wanted for assaulting a sheriff’s deputy in Kentucky has been arrested.

WKYT-TV reports that 46-year-old Larry Wilder was arrested Wednesday after Laurel County Sheriff’s Office officials say he seriously injured a deputy who was attempting to serve him a warrant on Sunday.

Wilder is charged with assault of an officer, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a handgun by convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is also charged with failure to appear in court on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance.



Three others were arrested and face assorted weapons and drug paraphernalia charges.

A total of 12 people have been arrested in connection with the search for Wilder.

It’s unclear if the accused have lawyers.
