BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore health officials are observing International Overdose Awareness Day.
Officials will use the occasion on Thursday to highlight the city’s ongoing response to the drug overdose crisis.
They plan to talk about naloxone training. Naloxone, commonly known as Narcan, is used to reverse drug overdoses.
International Overdose Awareness Day is a global annual event to raise awareness of overdoses and reduce the stigma associated with the disease of addiction.
