CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Police in North Carolina say a mail carrier was shot and wounded during an altercation.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said in a news release that patrol officers responding to a cal around !;30 p.m. Thursday found the mail carrier with gunshot wounds. Police say he was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators said initial information showed the victim and the alleged suspects were involved in an altercation when the shooting occurred. So far, there have been no arrests.
