NEW YORK (AP) - Police have arrested 20-year-old man in connection with the death of a Brooklyn man who was fatally stabbed in front of his wife.
Police say Gary Correa, of Brooklyn, was arrested Thursday on murder charges in the Aug. 18 killing of 42-year-old George Carroll near his home in Brooklyn.
The 42-year-old man was walking with his wife in Greenpoint when he allegedly exchanged words with two men standing on a stoop. The men chased the victim down the street and one of them stabbed him in the chest.
It wasn’t clear if Correa had a lawyer who could comment on his arrest.
