SALEM, Ore. (AP) - Salem police are searching for a 5-year-old boy who was last seen at the water’s edge at a local park.
Multiple news outlets reported Allen “Chaz” Pearson disappeared at about 5:30 p.m. Friday at Wallace Marine Park while playing with other children near a pedestrian bridge over the Willamette River.
Police spokesman Lt. David Okada says authorities are searching in the water and the park.
