HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Police in Hartford are investigating an overnight shooting that left one person dead.

Officers responded to the scene just before 3 a.m. Saturday. Police say 28-year-old Patrick Granville suffered gunshot wounds to the neck and shoulder. He was pronounced dead at a hospital around 7 a.m.

Police say the city resident was found unresponsive in a vehicle that had crashed into a parked car.
