HIGHGATE, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say a Massachusetts woman crashed her pickup truck into stopped vehicles while trying to cross the Canadian border.

Police say Heidi Young had three minors with her when she failed to stop for a line of cars backed up at the border crossing at Highgate, Vermont.

No one was injured Saturday afternoon.

Police say the 44-year-old woman from Attleboro, Massachusetts, was charged with drunken driving and child endangerment.

A phone number for Young could not be located, and it was unclear if she’d retained a lawyer. She’s due to appear in court Aug. 28.
