CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - A former University of Central Arkansas professor has pleaded guilty to 13 counts of child pornography under a plea agreement.

Noel Campbell, 47, pleaded guilty Monday to charges related to images on his personal computer and didn’t contest the other 213 counts in connection to pornography found on his university-owned computer, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported . Campbell now faces 75 years in prison.

A police affidavit says Campbell was arrested on April 3, 2015, after university police seized a flash drive from his office desktop computer. The computer was later seized by a university police officer and a Conway police detective who works on computer forensics. University police also confiscated Campbell’s personal laptop and cellphone.

Campbell was charged with 60 counts of child pornography when he was arrested. But the state increased the counts to 310 after investigators found more images on his personal computer.

He resigned as an economics professor after he was suspended, and he was banned from campus shortly after his arrest.

Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Jordan Crews said counts the state dropped included those associated to preview-type pictures that authorities don’t believe Campbell opened.

Campbell is scheduled for sentencing on Aug. 16. He’ll remain free on bond until then.
