POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) - Eastern Idaho authorities say Pocatello police opened fire twice on a vehicle as part of a series of events involving a high-speed chase and leading to a man and woman being taken into custody and transported to a hospital.
Law enforcement officials have not confirmed whether anyone in the vehicle was shot in the incident that started at about 5 p.m. Thursday in Pocatello when Pocatello police say they tried to arrest an individual with outstanding warrants.
The Idaho State Journal reports (http://bit.ly/2Anc4mS) that police arrested 27-year-old Terrence Griggs of Pocatello and 21-year-old Stacey Carter of Chubbuck.
They were taken by ambulances to a hospital for treatment and then booked into the Bannock County Jail.
Police say they are looking for a woman who jumped from the vehicle and fled.
