1 killed in shooting in robbery at sweepstakes business

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - One person has died after a shooting during an apparent robbery at a sweepstakes business in North Carolina.

Local media outlets report that Winston-Salem police were called to a video gaming business called the Hook around 4 a.m. Monday for a robbery.

The name of the victim has not been released.

Police say a second person was taken to a hospital. There is no word on that person’s condition.

No arrests have been reported.
