Governor appoints new Superior Court judge for Pinal County

PHOENIX (AP) - The presiding judge of Casa Grande Municipal Court is headed to the Pinal County Superior Court bench.

Gov. Doug Ducey’s office on Tuesday announced Ducey’s appointment of Christopher O’Neil to fill a Superior Court vacancy created by Ducey’s appointment of Judge Karl Eppich to the Arizona Court of Appeals.

O’Neil became Casa Grande’s presiding judge in 2013. He worked as a staff attorney for the Superior Court before that.
