ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities in western New York say a home that was struck by a pickup truck was so badly damaged it had to be demolished.
WHAM-TV reports a pickup truck slammed into a home in Rochester around 3:45 p.m. Monday. Police say fire crews and Rochester Gas & Electric were called to the home to assess the damage.
Authorities say a person who was inside the home at the time of the crash was treated for a leg injury that’s not life-threatening. Police say the driver of the truck was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Officials say the home was severely damaged in the crash. Crews demolished the house Monday night.
No charges have been filed. Police continue to investigate the crash.
