MILWAUKEE (AP) - Milwaukee police say the father of a 4-year-old girl reported missing has been arrested for making a false report.
Authorities say the girl was found at school. Earlier police reported the child was in a vehicle that was stolen in Milwaukee Tuesday morning. And, that the vehicle was recovered, but the child was still missing.
Police later said the so-called abduction was falsely reported by the child’s father, who is in custody. The investigation continues.
