BOSTON (AP) - A third person has been charged in connection with a drug robbery that led to a fatal shooting in Boston.

Demetrius Cast was arraigned Wednesday on robbery charges at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he’s being treated for gunshot wounds.

Prosecutors say a 16-year-old boy arranged to buy marijuana from a woman with 21-year-old Duncan Ketter on Sunday. They say all three got into a vehicle and when it was in motion, an armed man emerged from the rear area where he had been hidden and demanded the pot. Prosecutors say when he was met with resistance he shot Ketter, who was thrown from the vehicle with the woman.

Authorities haven’t specified what role Cast allegedly played in the robbery. Cast’s attorney didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday.
