4-year-old boy hit, killed by truck at Cheyenne intersection

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming police are investigating the death of a 4-year-old boy who was hit by a pickup at an intersection in Cheyenne.

Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Kevin Malatesta says Aiden Mullinax and his mother, 31-year-old Ashley Nowlin, were struck by the turning truck Tuesday evening.

The boy died at the scene, and Nowlin was being treated at a local hospital. Her condition has not been released.

No citations have been issued, and the investigation is expected to last several weeks.
