NEW YORK (AP) - A construction worker has been killed by a falling piece of scaffolding in Manhattan.
It happened just after 8:30 a.m. Monday at a construction site at Ninth Avenue and 14th Street.
Police say the 34-year-old worker was struck in the head.
The unidentified man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
