DAVIE, Fla. (AP) - A car crashed into a Florida fast-food restaurant, killing a woman inside.

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that 41-year-old Zamara Gonzalez was inside a Pollo Tropical in the Fort Lauderdale suburb of Davie on Friday afternoon when a car jumped the curb and crashed through the glass front door. She was pinned her underneath the vehicle. A man and a boy were treated at a hospital for minor injuries.

Davie police spokesman Sgt. Mark Leone said officers were questioning the driver, whom he described as an older man.

Witness Mark Sierens told the paper it appeared the driver had been driving the wrong way in the parking lot and knocked over a stop sign before splitting two palm trees and hitting the restaurant.
