KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) - Two Texas men have been arrested in southern Oregon after authorities conducting a traffic stop say they found nearly a half-million dollars, illegal drugs and prescription pills in two concealed compartments in their Cadillac.

The Oregon State Police says Friday that 28-year-old Andrew Garrigan and 27-year-old Jacob Runion were booked on suspicion of money laundering, conspiracy and drug charges in Klamath County Jail.

They were arrested Monday in Klamath Falls after an initial traffic stop for failing to drive within the lane.

Authorities say the men were carrying $444,030 in cash as well as the drugs.

The investigation is continuing.
