President Trump on Friday doubled down on his endorsement of GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore, just four days before the special election in Alabama.

“LAST thing the Make America Great Again Agenda needs is a Liberal Democrat in Senate where we have so little margin for victory already. The Pelosi/Schumer Puppet Jones would vote against us 100% of the time. He’s bad on Crime, Life, Border, Vets, Guns & Military. VOTE ROY MOORE!” Mr. Trump tweeted.

Mr. Moore is running against Democrat Doug Jones in the Dec. 12 election.

The president has received much criticism for his endorsement of Mr. Moore. The former Alabama Supreme Court justice has been accused of pursuing sexual relationships with teenage girls when he was in his 30s.

The White House has pushed back on this criticism, saying that it was up to the voters of Alabama to decide the race, but critics point out that Mr. Trump’s endorsement would seemingly be aimed to sway voters’ opinions.

Recently, the Republican National Committee also gave its endorsement to Mr. Moore.
