CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - A 61-year-old man who had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old Corvallis girl has been convicted of sexual abuse and sentenced to three years and five months in state prison.

The Corvallis Gazette-Times reports (https://bit.ly/2kPRLGT ) Donald Grey of Oregon City must also register as a sex offender and not contact the victim or her family.

Court-appointed attorney Clark Willes spoke on Grey’s behalf, saying his client does not agree with all the facts listed in the charges, but was willing to admit guilt and move forward.

Grey was arrested in October after a month-long investigation into a report the girl was having sex with an adult.

Prosecutor Amie Matusko said it was troubling that the victim discussed the relationship with a number of friends and none of them reported it.
