CHICAGO (AP) - Connor Toolson scored 14 points and led a balanced Utah Valley attack to an 87-54 blowout win against Chicago State on Saturday.

Four players finished in double figures for the Wolverines (11-13, 3-6 WAC), and 10 of 11 players had at least one bucket.

Jordan Poydras finished with 12 points while Isaac Neilson and Jared Stutzman each chipped in 10 for Utah Valley, which won its first WAC road game of the season.

The Wolverines shot 52.5 percent of their shots and made 12 3-pointers.

Fred Sims Jr. scored 16 points and Trayvon Palmer added 15 to lead Chicago State (6-21, 1-9). The Cougars made just 11 total field goals and shot 19.3 percent, but did make 28 free throws.

The Cougars lone WAC victory came against Utah Valley on Jan. 12.

The Wolverines ended the first half on a 17-3 run and led 37-18. A Poydras jumper to start the second gave them a 20-point lead and the Wolverines cruised from there.
