MIDDLETOWN, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a former employee at a private country club targeted its members during a recent home burglary spree.

Middletown police say 54-year-old Lisa Bostrom and 61-year-old Garry Doherty, both of Long Branch, each face several counts including burglary and conspiracy. It’s not known if they’ve retained attorneys.

Officials say Bostrom was a bartender at the country club who didn’t have access to membership records. But she allegedly used her knowledge about its members to enter their homes in a series of burglaries that started in late December.

Bostrom and Doherty were captured earlier this month after a resident reported a man who approached a home and asked about a lost dog. Authorities found a vehicle that matched the description of the getaway car used in the burglaries, and Bostrom and Doherty were found inside the vehicle.
