TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a teenage boy was shot and wounded at a home in New Jersey’s capital city.

But it’s still not clear what led to the shooting that occurred late Saturday night at a home on Jersey Street in Trenton.

The 13-year-old boy was shot in the thigh and was being treated at a hospital. But his name and further details on his injuries have not been disclosed.

Authorities say officers responding to reports of a shooting found the boy sitting on the porch. They also say a gun was recovered near the home, but declined further comment on the weapon.

No arrests have been made.
