SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Police are searching for the suspect who shot a woman in central New York.

Police say the 20-year-old woman was shot while sitting in her car around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday in Syracuse’s north side. The woman fled and called the police after being struck.

Officials say she was taken to Upstate University Hospital with a gunshot wound to her leg. Police say her injuries are not life-threatening.



Police say the suspect was driving a gray mini-van. The investigation is ongoing.
