PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. (AP) - A police pursuit of a stolen car that allegedly was used in a weekend robbery ended with a flat tire and the arrests of three teenagers.

Authorities say the pursuit began late Monday morning when an officer spotted the car in Pleasantville and tried to stop the vehicle. But they say the 16-year-old Atlantic City boy driving the car instead sped away.

The brief chase ended on the Atlantic City Expressway when the driver had to stop due to a flat tire.

The teen and two passengers - both Pleasantville residents - were all taken into custody. But details on the charges they face were not disclosed.

The names of the three teenagers were not released because they are juveniles.
